Zhihong Ye is currently Dean and Professor, School of Nursing of Zhejiang University, China.
Dr Ye has spanned clinical practice, education, policy and research. As one of the earliest nursing leaders in China who adapted nursing management systems from America to Chinese settings. Dr Ye is served as the Vice President for nursing of Shaw Hospital which a 1200-bed tertiary teaching hospital for 22 years, which became the earliest and only hospital in China that passed Joint Commission International accreditation four times and China's first Magnet® hospital. The nursing management model and guidelines of the Hospital have been widely adapted and disseminated in China. Dr Ye also as Dean of nursing school in Zhejiang university of China for 10 years. Who created the nursing PhD program and the post-doctoral program in the school and which is only graduate-level nursing education in China. She established a collaborative platform that connects academia and practice among faculties, students, practicing nurses, and other healthcare professionals across the nursing school and its affiliated hospitals. Dr Ye Leading series research programs focused on nurses' burnout and creation of a healthy work environment. Developed and validated a Chinese nursing work environment scale and conducted interventions in real-world settings to achieve healthy work environments.
Dr Ye completed her Diploma and Associate Diploma nursing program in Zhejiang province. And then Completed MBA program in Macau University of Science and Technology. She later earned her PhD degree in nursing from Second Military Medical University, Shanghai, China.
