Pamela Lusk


Associate Clinical Professor

The Ohio State University

Pamela Lusk is currently an Associate Professor of Clinical Practice at the Ohio State University College of Nursing. Additionally, she practices as the integrated Psychiatric/ Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in a large rural Pediatric Practice. She has been named as a Distinguished Practitioner by the National Academies of Practice and a Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Dr. Lusk has combined her clinical expertise and graduate teaching experience to develop a unique Clinical Training Model – teaching NP students to deliver evidence- based psychotherapy (CBT) for children and adolescents. Dr. Lusk prepares advanced practice psychiatric nurses and primary care colleagues to increase access to mental health care and improve mental health outcomes for the children and adolescents in their communities.
Dr. Lusk serves as Director of the National KySS Online Child and Adolescent Mental Health Fellowship, that over the past 10 years has prepared primary care providers from all over the country to provide first line pediatric mental health screenings and interventions. Dr. Lusk has authored many book chapters and journal articles dealing with evidence-based psychotherapy for children and adolescents and is Associate Editor of the Journal of Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Nursing.

Dr. Lusk completed her BSN at Spalding University in Louisville, Kentucky and her MSN in Psychiatric/ Mental Health Nursing (Child, Adolescent) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed the Post Master’s Psychiatric/ Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program and Doctor of Nursing Practice program at Arizona State University in Phoenix, Arizona.
